In fact, these two people were an early key to finding links to a multi-generational gold mine of information. So, I had met two of my great great aunts as a young kid. The best I can figure out is that this app only maintains and saves the direct line of descendants, not brothers and sisters (of grandparents, etc.). Lo and behold, a large amount of information that I entered dutifully had just disappeared. This approach lasted about week, until I went back to look up some of the content as a reference point for further content. With most of these features, I figured I get to them later, so I concentrated on getting the content I have into the program. However, there are still some issues I just have not been able get a handle on. It's a little clunky and counter-intuitive, but I was able to figure out things pretty quickly. MacFamilyTree has been greatly expanded over the years and is a real treasure among my programmes.
